Grove Products, the leading producer of plastic structural shims, is a family-owned business founded in 1962.

Depend on Grove. You have bigger problems to take care of, without having to worry about shims. That’s why the Braune Family and our staff pay extra attention to the details. Details like using the best recycled plastics, and making sure your order gets shipped quickly and accurately. Since all we make is shims, we have to be the best in the business.

Grove Products are Made in America.  We manufacture entirely in our own facility in Leominster, MA, but we can deliver shims almost anywhere in the US within 48 hours, or sooner if your need is urgent. We apply stringent quality control to our products.  Our 100% American made shims qualify under the Buy American Act.

Leominster is known as the “Plastics City” because it helped give birth to the plastics industry. Starting with the invention of celluloid, here, in 1868, Leominster became a center of plastics production and know-how. The evolution from primitive materials to modern plastics was pioneered here.  That deep-rooted manufacturing tradition and expertise is in every shim we make.

We are part of your industry, and manufacture to your standards.   We are members of  STAFDA (The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association)  and NGA (The National Glass Association), and actively engaged in industry events.

We use up to 100% percent recycled plastics in our products, largely from local sources. In our manufacturing process, we recycle all our trims.
